Interchangeable Belt

Customizable belt buckle for users to personalize their traditional belt buckles. Made in Designing Material Experiences (NMA 233) Course atTMU.

  • Used Fusion 360 to 3D model!
Message and Purpose:
  • Regular belts have a fixed design where they only have one attachment to their belt. This belt lets you purchase it once rather than multiple times and has an easy sliding system, which will make it less bulky and more convenient than regular buckles.
  • The project would focus on fashion-focused people, professionals, and eco-friendly consumers, as the belt will be great for both casual and formal wear, customizable, reusable, and sustainable.
Challenges and Solutions
  • First time using Fusion 360:
    • Even with measurements, some parts of my printing would not fit! My solution to this was a long trial-and-error adventure with reprinting and sanding to get the right size I needed!
